TPSquared - Resetting Inventory To Zero
Conceptual Overview
TPSquared has a complete set of advanced inventory management tools available to the user. Amongst these tools is a utility routine that allows the user to set a portion of the inventory to zero. This process can be most effective for the grower, especially at the end of the selling season. The alternative is to access every item individually and adjust the inventory counts as needed.
As TPSquared maintains inventory in what we refer to as Plots, Bins or Stores,
The user may specify that quantities be set to zero for a unique plot/Bin/Store or
all of the storage areas identified to a location.
Operation
Under the main menu selection of Inventory select the "Locations" sub-menu item.
As can be seen when a location is selected in the left panel all of the Plot/Bin/Stores identified to that location are shown within the right panel.
Below are two buttons label as "Select All" and "Unselect All". Additionally, individual Plot/Bin/Stores can be selected or de-selected as required. When the correct entries are specified the user may press the "Make quantity zero" button.
Note: There is no recovery from this routine. We suggest that a backup is made prior to using this procedure.
