Fax Purchase Orders
Another feature built in to TP2 that works much like inter-company transfers is a Purchase Order "Worksheet" where any user can start a new worksheet that is visible at any other location. It can be printed as a Purchase order or faxed directly to the vendor.
As a PO worksheet is entered it is given a title such as "Week 14 Releases" or "Supplemental Needs as of 12 May". Additionally the originating user id is recorded and the current status of the worksheet is specified, such as In Process, Completed & Ready, In Transit or Finished.
A vendor is chosen from the A/P vendor table or processed as a manual entry.
The actual look and feel of the finished document is up to the end user as each installation has the opportunity to customize the format.
Note: Faxing within TP2 is dependent on the users workstaton hardware and fax software capabilities.
