Counter Sales Module
TP2 was designed with thru-put in mind. A common design flaw in windows based software is the number of clicks and hand-to-mouse movements required to complete a common business transaction. Several university studies conducted over the past decade suggest that it takes 2 to 3 times longer to process like business transactions in windows based software as it does in comparable DOS or text based software.
TP2 employs technology to limit that hand-to-mouse movement. Firstly, via hot keys and the intelligent anticipation of the users next requirement and secondly, touch screen technology. The system can be used with or without touch screens.
The TP2 counter sale design allows for cash based retail customers to move thru the checkout process quickly and smoothly without any additional or unnecessary actions required of the counter clerk.
Wholesale by it's very nature requires additional features such as the easy ability to lookup and specify the customers account. The ability to send important account information to the clerk, such as credit status, etc., without the clerk even being aware that the information is available. The ability to apply discounts at either the line item level or order level, and the ability to enter special notations on the order. Also many accounts require that a PO number be shown on the documents.
TP2 was designed in such a way that all of these features are available but do not get in the way if not required.
