Inventory Management
TPSquared is designed to support two different methods of inventory control. The first being for those that purchase the vast majority of their product and the second for those that grow the majority of their products. Both techniques produce an accurate cost of goods sold where appropriate.
The second major difference is Plot management. Obviously the business that only purchases and resells inventory does not need the ability to manage crops and their growth in the field. For those we use a more conventional technique to maintain an accurate inventory.
Both techniques produce an always up to date view of the current inventory position as goods are sold and received. We have designed a clever lookup technique that as end users are searching for an item the look up window includes current available stock and pricing information. Items maybe searched for by their common name, botanical name or item code. The technique employed shows all sizes of each species in hierarchal sequence with the smallest size of the item first thru to the largest.
A complete inventory adjustment history is maintained for both techniques. A simple click will show the user exactly how the stock position was arrived at. All sales, receipts and adjustments are recorded in the history.
Among the available reports are On-Hand reports by item or by location. Counts sheets are also available, either by item or by location.
Both inventory techniques support multiple location storage.
