Welcome to the TPSquared Web Site. We are in the process of updating our site with the intent of providing you an easier and more fruitful web experience. This is the same logic we apply to the on-going development of TPSquared. A constant re-evaluation in our never ending desire to produce the best software on the market.
Q. We have several price levels in place. What pricing options does TP2 support?
A.TP2 has 10 price levels, any one of which can be assigned to any customer. Sale pricing may be applied to all or any one of these price levels at any time. This can be specified as a percentage or dollar discount. Contract pricing is also available for any customer and any customer may have several price contracts in place at any time. Volume discounts are also available at any price level.
Additionaly, during the setup process the user provides the names or titles of each price level and from that point forward the other users reference prices based on their common titles.
Q.Can TP2 print catalogs and/or current availability sheets?
A.Yes. The system includes 3 user defined price lists, any one of which can be printed in catalog format. Additionally, the system can generate a weekly stock availability list that can be printed or faxed directly from the software in broadcast format.
Q.We take a deposit on Landscape installations prior to the actual work being performed. Can TP2 manage deposits?
A.Yes. Their is complete customer deposit routine built in. It can handle routine deposits, deposit refunds and corrections
Q.We actually operate two businesses from this one location. Each requires a distinct invoice. Can TP2 provide that?
A.Yes, each customer can be assigned any one of three different invoice formats.
Q.On larger orders we require a "Load" copy of the invoice for the yard crew and on landscape installations we require a "crew" copy as a work order. Can TP2 provide these documents?
A.Absolutely. When the order is ready to be printed the user can specify the type of documents required such as an invoice, order acknowledgement, dig sheet/pick list and tree tags.
Q.We use a lot of temp help during peak periods. How long does it take to learn the counter sale portion of the system?
A.Ease of use was a top priority in the design. We have had reports where college students can learn the counter routines in as little as 30 minutes. It is very intuitive.
Q.Our state allows us to charge tax on the purchase price of products that are installed as a permanent part of the real estate. Can TP2 accommodate this?
A.Yes, Many states allow this but it is little known. TP2 provides this functionality and allows the user to show the tax on the documents or to hide it. It also provides an excellent audit trail for the IRS and the appropriate reports to fill out the state sales tax forms.
Q.We need an up to date, always current inventory at the counter. Does TP2 track inventory as it is committed to orders?
A.Yes, in real time mode. Not only as you sell it but also as you receive it. The item lookup window shows the current on-hand/available stock position along with the pricing. No need to perform multiple queries to get this important information.
Q.We get "Master" orders in advance of the season for multiple shipments on demand thru out the season. Can TP2 handle this?
A.Yes, You can commit stock to these orders and easily make intermittent releases thru out the season. The system retains the remaining balance as an undelivered open order.
